#AEWDynasty was a great show with fantastic wrestling from bell-to-bell.
Not gonna lie though, I hated a lot of the booking.

At no point in the entire history of professional wrestling has a wrestling promotion turned things around by going out of their way (on their own show) to tear down their creative, their product (the actual wrestling) and their viewers / fan base.
But hey, maybe this time will be different.
💯
Any time your argument has to include verbiage like "You mouth-breathing internet dorks", you've already lost.
The sad part is that he's not entirely wrong. The dives through the ropes to the outside don't have the impact they used to, are used far too often, and they could easily injure someone badly, if not permanently.
His delivery was always the issue, and him doubling down on that makes it worse.
The U.S. is the terrorist regime now.
I'm convinced that the story was supposed to end exactly how the HBO show did, and the backlash and disappointment to that ending has caused GRRM to rethink it. The problem is that he can't figure out a better ending, so ultimately he just won't finish the books.
The only way to combat WBD's "ban" of Brody King on #AEW TV is to chant "Fuck ICE" during every match, every promo, every segment.
Pass it on.
It’s not just that the “Fuck ICE” chants happened.
It’s that everyone involved - the performers, the commentators, production - seemed to make a collective decision in the moment to let it breathe and be the story of the moment.
That was cool as hell.
Yeah, they preached about attempting to be a modern No Mercy, but didn't come close. The mini-games were a distraction and creations were a joke. I thought the core gameplay was fun, but the story mode was short and outside of that, there was almost nothing to do but play Exhibition matches.
I'm really hoping AEW takes another stab at a wrestling game, maybe with a different developer. I had so much optimism for Fight Forever, and it had the bones of something that could be great. It needed massive improvements (more match options, a GM / Promoter mode, deeper gameplay) but got nothing.
*gluck* *gluck* *gluck*
Glad we got ol' Sperm-Belly's take.

Has Triple Nose booked a good Royal Rumble match?
He's had satisfying Winners, but I can't recall ever leaving one of his Rumble matches and thinking "Damn, that was good"
So, they said that this was going to be the "Most Star-Studded Men's rumble of all Time".
I just saw the list of entries and it's very ..... meh.
I wasn't specifically talking his matches. Most matches in AEW are fire. I was more discussing the creative direction that his character (and the TV shows) took in that time. I was hyped for his run initially, but almost everything they did with him as Champion just did not appeal to me.
I can admit that the "Better Than You BayBay" act was hot. I was one of the few who never enjoyed it. Luckily there were other parts of AEW I was enjoying at the time. I can accept that not everything on the show will be for me, and that angle just wasn't for me. Props to those who enjoyed it tho.
100%
I didn't mind the Bryan match. Tbh, If forgotten about that one.
I hated everything about the Adam Cole story, but for some reason I've never been a big Cole fan. I've never been able to put my finger on why.
AEW HOT TAKE:
MJF's first AEW World Title run was terrible from start to finish, so I'm not thrilled with the potential of a second run.
John Cena's career wasn't the only thing that ended last night.
Read my newest column detailing the end of the Paul Levesque Redemption Tour.
A sleeper hold doesn't force your wrestler opponent to tap out.

Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.
Who knew "Never Give Up" meant "unless it's your last match, then fuck it - absolutely give up in the most bored way possible"?
Not only did he give up, but he did so in the most apathetic "let's get this shit over with" kind of way. The last ten seconds of that match were bizarre. He just stopped selling, looked directly into the camera, gave a look as if to say "Welp, this is what they booked", and lightly tapped. Weird.
To be fair, that audience shouting at him are the same ones who keep showing up and paying those inflated ticket prices.
So wait.... You're telling me that the guy who couldn't beat an Uso at WrestleMania this year was the first guy in over 20 yrs to make John Cena tap out?!
Nah, I ain't buying whatever you're selling Triple Nose.
He's getting a Hatty.
Exactly.
Who has the worst theme song in #AEW and why is it Hook?
