Quite true. I imagine someone with a heavily complex piece of machinery kicking it and a tiny hatch opens with a kobold head poking out. “Don’t worry boss we’re already on it!”
Scavenging, searching, repairing. Be it a scrappy future or a pristine one there will always be kobolds somewhere under the surface tinkering.
Well you’d better get used to it, yip yap. Because now you’re in one.
