This week, Aljoscha and Sammy start processing Prague. In part 7 of 'Why is it called worm-blossom', enter Aljoscha. And in the comic, he learns that no good deed goes unpunished. Wait, that is what he learned when reading the comic. It is confusing being a comic character

Surelock I hate deadlocks. Maybe you do too.

🦀🔐☠️ Tired of deadlocks? Me too! Here's a post about a library that I've been working on to help wrangle the problem in Rust

I have 4220 tabs on Zen right now. Best Zen feature ever is the ability to close/open Zen, restart the PC, etc and it just keeps your tabs :)

(Yes opening a new tab has become sluggish, but I am stubborn. I also suspect the only sluggish thing is the vertical tab bar having to scroll)

Do you have a link? Haven't really found a place where consumers (or at least not bigcorp) can get these for cheap.

Here’s a recording of my #FOSDEM talk on willowprotocol.org. This talk was a real labour of love, hope you enjoy it!!!

Excited to meet everyone there! Hit me up if you want to chat. I'm a little awkward to go up to people but very happy to chat!

I feel like in the spirit of openness making a webapp that allows creating shareable meta-feeds could be interesting 🤔
I don't really know how they work, but it must be possible, right?

heartening thread here. there is real, meaningful work we can do to protect our communities, we can learn how to do it from each other, and we don't have to do it alone.

Lots of snow, Norwegian cottages.

Lots of snow, Norwegian cottages.

Recently visited Håfjell, Norway

One of the rare flights I actually take. I love my trains, but Norway is too far.

Did Lufthansa Rail & Fly this time. Can highly recommend.

I had some really similar thoughts the last months, but I haven't gotten over how to track where data comes from.

I think the "classical" copying of a file is just not enough. We need versioning & source tracking. Not as part of the file, but as a part of the filesystem.

(1/n) A question to ask when building or evaluating software: Is this a feature, a product, or a business?

Mistaking one for another leads to heartache for both you and your users (I speak from experience).

We've been hard at work again making things better on Seams.so! We rebuild our server proxy to be based on wabac.js by @webrecorder.net , making it entirely client side, and much more resilient!
Hoping to ship it tomorrow.

Looks like this year I will take a lot more flights.

So I will be building P2P, secure & reliable software that functions cross-device even on a flight & syncs with collaborators once available.

On the web of course (as much as possible at this point).
