Yeah, he’s so lost in his own beliefs that he truly believes what he is doing is what is best for everyone. He doesn’t think his end goal is evil. And the fact that he is so convincing shows the character of not just him but the elves and anyone who believed him.

The show in general just made the characters a little more complex. None of them were exclusively good or evil, they all had struggles and morals that were sacrificed. Or they did things that they thought were good but hurt some in the process. I’m excited for season 3’s character development

I think adar was an excellent addition. He wasn’t necessarily evil, he was just willing to put the needs of his family above all else. I think he show Galadriel that evil and disagreement can be separate. And he showed that the elves might not be so morally pure as they think.

Yes! It gives us a chance to see Galadriel become the elf we see in lotr. She’s still kind of young in RoP so it makes sense that she still has some character development to do.

I think men tend to like Cate Blanchett’s Galadriel more because she’s a bit calmer and they don’t like seeing women act violent. Standing up for yourself what you believe in is just unattractive apparently.

Regarding war of the rohirrim: I loved it. The score is gorgrous and so is the art style. It is an anime and has some of that anime dramatics that is so fun. Also I had to pee really bad so I missed arguably two of some of the most important minutes of the movie :D
