The City has officially declared today Boston Bruins Centennial Day, marking 100 years since the very 1st NHL game in the United States when the Bruins beat the Montreal Canadiens at the old Boston Arena. Yesterday we unveiled the new Bruins statue alongside several generations of legends.

Fun fact: the rezoning we codified in Mattapan for more housing & small biz was the 1st time in a decade that planning had turned into actual zoning in Boston. This also launched our citywide rezoning process, the 1st in 60 years.
