I got to explain the 14th amendment to my class today. Many didn’t know it was a reconstruction amendment. This is why one of the best things we can do is provide the history behind what leads to the madness. People truly don’t know.
People don't really think any of this! Overestimates of small proportions are a quirk of general innumeracy, not genuine misperceptions.
