Go for it. Ours is not ideal and we’re also east/west rooflines so we get coverage that works pretty well for us. Lots of big trees around but nothing right at the house really so our curve throughout the day has been pretty good. As things leaf out, that may change…

Volvo/Polestar is getting through the software glitches pretty quickly, and hardware is progressing too. I love my P3. The new Toyota EVs (which are the same as the Subaru EVs) are rock solid, and you actually have lots of surprisingly good options from GM these days

I have been writing about EVs at WSJ for a decade and this is the first year that so many readers are fans of them that when I asked for their tips on switching, responses *poured* in.

The energy transition isn't gonna happen fast but it IS happening.
