If you're lucky enough to grow old, the disability one is pretty much inevitable. For everyone. But you could also become disabled tomorrow if something unexpected happens. So however you advocate for disabled people to be treated now, what awaits you when it's your turn will be no better than that.

It's especially vicious because any 1 of 'em is hard enough to survive. And the thing is, we know how to meet the needs for all 3, but we don't. Not just because capitalism or patriarchy. _We_ need to be part of a culture of compassion that goes out of your way to destigmatize and champion for them.

If you're a part of a marginalized group (e.g. trans ppl), you're statistically far more likely to be shoved into 1 of 3 common social gutters: homelessness, disability, and suicide. And the deeper you get pushed into any one of those three, the more likely you are to also fall into the others.
