Thank you! I also sent you one with my friend code, because I'm online now! Want me to send it somewhere else?

Guess we'll find out if I do, lol. I'm trying to get organized. I have so many flowers everywhere I actually posted on reddit that I had flowers to share once I'm online.
@snapcracklepoppies.bsky.social here's the space for my rock garden! Not sure if I have 6 rocks on my island, but hopefully I can get them to relocate pretty easily :-)
It's not done yet, either. I'll post more when it's more done.
Book one of the Furyck Saga.... done! Starting book 2 today. This series has 7 books, I believe, and not a single one has fewer than 600 pages!
If you want a super long series with fun characters, check this out! Book one is Winter's Fury. I believe the author is AE Rayne.
I said the other day that I was reading the furyck saga, and as much as I like to say I HATE enemies to lovers, this romance in my fantasy series is one of the better examples. I don't love romance, and this series is DEFINITELY more fantasy, but the slow burn between the love interests... chef kiss
I haven't talked about it much, because my brain has been on other things, and I read some things on LinkedIn that gave me the worst imposter syndrome, but with my husband's support, I'm happy to announce I'm back in the proofreading game. If you want that final polish on your book, DM me :-)
Weird take, and potentially an unpopular one, but my favorite Brad Pitt movie is World War Z. I watch it multiple times when I find it on streaming.
Right now it's on Pluto.
I finally restarted the Furyck Saga, and I love it just as much as I did when I started book one a couple years ago. I have the whole series so I'm excited to actually finish it!
I've also been reading the Archibald Lox books by Darren Shan, and I highly recommend them! They're middle grade, and the story is so well done I sometimes wish I lived in the Merge. Read the books so you can know what I'm talking about!
It made me feel good, because kids are honest and most see the truth of things before adults do and they don't have the tact to avoid hurting someone's feelings. To have a child notice my work to lose unhealthy weight, made me feel amazing.
So I've been taking Zepbound for a couple months now, and the other day my neighbor's little girl came up to give me a hug like she does. She asked me, "why are you so skinny?"
While I'm nowhere near my goal weight yet, that made me feel SO good. 1/2
Hubs got a kitten! Simon is a little peeved kitten stole his spot, but hasn't hissed or anything! Even groomed him a bit.
Yay! Job hunting is slow, but I have a couple places that look promising. Should be able to get it soon.
Yeah, I keep thinking I need to check on my stardew farm, but AC just keeps calling my name lol.
So freaking cute! I saw a bunch of furniture i don't have yet, so #goals!
Same! But he's adorable!
By the way, how fun is the little ghostie!?!?
Hubs: so, last night I had this horrible nightmare that you were watching this show called Designing Women, and I woke up knowing it couldn't be true!
Me, turning Hulu to Designing Women: why would that be a nightmare?
I just got black roses, and I want all the colors. I'm setting up spaces for breeding now. Windflowers first, then the rest.
@snapcracklepoppies.bsky.social here's the flower breeding image I found, in case you didn't already have one :-)
Thank you! I am really enjoying them!
I've been changing up my house, too. Keep having to remind myself to stick with the sets lol. I'm such an eclectic decorator I tend to just stick whatever wherever lol
@snapcracklepoppies.bsky.social thought I'd share some of my favorite acnh photos!
I don't play with my sound up, but I love the fact that players can really make their islands their own, even if there are only 4 starter layouts.
I have other ponds I can work with, so I'm not so worried about it that way. I did get rid of a couple, but I think I'll leave the rest.
I have discovered my favorite way to relax is to run along the beach and dig up class for fish bait. It's productive but I can stop at any point.
I'm so tempted to take down all the cliffs, but I like the big one the museum is on. I may leave that one and take all the others down.
I usually go and do my 2 rooms right away, but then I miss it the rest of the day lol. I just finished room 5, and it looks so good!
I also got the path designer, so I've been creating paths everywhere. I also want to move some buildings around, but I want to plan that a little more.
I GOT THE HOTEL! My favorite part? Decorating the rooms!
Oh, how I have missed this game! I played the original, but haven't played since, and I'm LOVING IT!
My point, though, is that i was told specifically that they would call either way, by the end of business yesterday. Even if the answer was no, I expect people to keep their word. I don't think that's an insane expectation.
Does this drive anyone else crazy?
Was on a job interview, and was told "we have a couple more interviews, but you'll hear something, regardless, by end of business on Friday."
Am I crazy to think it was rather unprofessional of them to not call before EOB yesterday?
