I think that's been a thing for a long time, but the software to actually fingerprint the user that way sucked or couldn't be analyzed as easily. Like others have said, ai companies have nobody but themselves to blame for everyone hating it, and stuff like this doesn't help.
Seeing old, sincere pseudo science cranks mostly makes me sad. I see so many systemic failures in them. Delusions of grandeur are something I've personally seen tear people's lives apart. We fail people so badly all the time. We need to do better by everyone.

I think it's increasingly obvious that capitalism and the internet are not compatible. Nobody wants to pay for every single interaction\be surveilled and the dynamic\world changing stuff we love doesn't make money. Open source proves we COULD do things differently, for lots of things.

YES! Tekken tag 2, Yoko Taro madness, Vita vn's, Bayonetta, and some others were shining jewels in a long, dark, miserable decade. early PS4 was pretty meh, but when it caught fire it was amazing. It legit sparked my love for gaming again.
were it not for friends who showed me a buncha shmups on the 360 and some jrpgs on the vita I might have stopped modern gaming all together. PS4/Switch aren't totally dead yet for a reason. it was the best console gen since the ps2 era. not better, just better than the 360/ps3 era.
gawd I hated that era so fucking much. ALMOST became one of those "old games only!" curmudgeons. Legit, yoko taro games were THE most interesting things on the ps3 since launch for me. just too much to contain in a single skeet how much I loathed that era.

I know these things dont have much bass but if you want breathable headphones, you want clip on headphones. These are especially great if your head is greasy like mine is. Earbuds just feel gross, and banded ones get too hot after a while. The wireless ones do have more bass but either one is good.
