I had a great conversation with Andy Downing for Matter News about my 25 years in self-publishing and the talk I’ll be giving at SPACE this weekend. Give it a read!

This weekend at SPACE, I’m throwing a “Cleaning Out My Attic” sale at my table!
Dig through a stash of older comics and graphic novels, tons of great reads at bargain prices! Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
Swing by my table, dig in, and snag some treasures :)

I have a big interview with @briancanini.bsky.social in this week's newsletter! He talks about the Ninja Turtles and how he manages to crank out so much work every year. #comics
I was recently interviewed by Douglas Laubacher for his Inkwits Substack—such a fun conversation with some really thoughtful questions. It even includes a rare look at my origins (and a childhood drawing 👀).

A printed card handed out at the celebration of the late Tom Spurgeon's life at the Society of Illustrators in New York City, January 24, 2020. A portrait of Tom is by artist Michael Netz and below is a quote from Tom which begins with "I had an amazing life." He is much missed. Always remember.

🤣
This was a fun panel — I recall covering tons of stuff that I’ve never discussed… pre-COPRA dreams and beefs and highs and lows. Glad it was recorded!
I had an incredible weekend at CXC! Had a blast chatting with Michel Fiffe, Frederik Schodt, and the visiting manga artists from Japan. This festival has left my heart full. I'm feeling energized and ready to start making some more comics:)
Nice haul!
Lots of graphic novels spread across a large ottoman.
I must have hit my head on the drive down to Columbus Friday night. This is too much!
Everything is signed by the author except for the Rust Belt Review. I also can't believe I didn't already own a copy of 99 Ways To Tell A Story. #CXC #CXC2025

Stop by table 13A and grab a copy:)
