It's been about 18 months since I did my first tutorial.

It'll probably be another 18 or so before it's done.

Started developing concepts/design for a turn-based JRPG-style game when I was in HS in 2002/2003; made a text-only combat/mechanics tester in 2010, made a sprite-based prototype in Visual Studio of the first ~25% of it in 2015, and now I'm trying to fully develop it in 3D in Unreal.

I have a game that has been in the drawer since 2021 and will still be around for about 3 - 4 years. How about your development timeline?
