Tonight, my neighborhood is hosting the candidates for Council District 1. I am filling in for my wife who is on our neighborhood association board.

This morning, the Bethesda Chevy Chase Democratic Breakfast Club heard from candidates for the District 16 Delegate seats. I was happy to share a bit about what I have done as your Delegate and what I hope to do in another term.

This year's JCR includes required reporting I worked on related to Purple Line progress; bike lane impacts on Old Georgetown Road; implementation of a "bottle bill" in Maryland; and curbside management. But there are many more topics covered in the JCR that you can browse through below.

The Joint Chairs Report (JCR) of the state budget not only summarizes all of the budget actions taken by the Maryland General Assembly in consideration of the Governor's budget request, but it also represents one of our most important tools to provide oversight of the executive branch.

Each member’s own legislative agenda is just a fraction of the work we do regarding bills in our committee, legislation on the floor, contributions to the budget, constituent service and oversight.
