Students in Maltese school are all bilingual and want to learn third , fourth or fifth languages- they told me that it gives them an understanding of of the world if they learn the language which IS the culture. Such a beautiful place.
Wearing my ALL bag on holiday in Malta and someone has stopped me to ask where the office for ALL is in Malta- they were disappointed they could not go here! They said they will go online!

Fave word is Eichhörnchen For the way it sounds in my mouth. Best trip was my year abroad as part of my degree. Germany simply became my home and I left my heart there when I came back to UK.
My German teacher was legendary. Frank Hardhill I’m sure he did something incredible in a previous role.
German does yearning so well. ’Fernweh’, ‘far-sickness’, is the longing for distant places, while ‘Sehnsucht’ is a wistful desire for something intangible. #shoutoutforgerman
Very proud of my son who went to his first political party meeting with our local MP on Saturday. He loved it!
My biggest fear when I listening on a lesson plan, is that I will see testing and assessment of listening. A forgotten and much ignored skill. Today I taught combien and quand listening skills lesson .
