There are chat merging tools streamers can use for vrc. One I'd recommend would be casterlabs caffienated if you need a merged chat application. Though I'd like to see split chat support in the future for better chat monitoring + dono/sub messages, this is still a good and clean tool

For context, Dan Clancy announced this in February that they weren't going to enforce the rule anymore but streamers are still responsible for their chats' moderation

Okay I did not know that Twitch changed their rules about chat merging until last week
Bro I feel so fucking defeated ๐ฉ
For some reason I feel the urge to redo my whole body and make it from scratch, but my main issue is I can't find proper guides for male anatomy box modeling (box modeling = modeling without a sculpt) Truth is I'm so picky that it caused me to burn out
Going to be honest, Nintendo should have greenlit a Mario Bros TV show with Illumination as they could've given the story more depth
Mario Movie was peak. Could see a Star Fox movie in Illumination's future (maybe an MCU thing)
Fuck this piece of shit. It got everything it deserves and I honestly would thrown this fucker into the mouth of a volcano if I had to
I died at 26 and now reborn as 27

Who gave you the mega mushroom?
Tried ZZZ last night. I didn't realize that when you get an S-Rank they just drop them lyrics and my god ๐
Also got this weird labubu and I forgot i preregistered for ZZZ and got a free maid
I don't like how some of the songs I listen to nowadays are just made explicitly for edits (under a minute) and they really have a good melody and shit, but they are way too short. Like let me get immersed in the music instead of just edging me off like that bro ๐ญ
Me wanting to learn how to make my own multichat tool that can separate chats and alerts based on platform and not have them fucking merged
Forgot to add blendshapes as those also factor in the memory costs. As for the custom shader bit, varies on how feature rich they are and if they need some jank work arounds given the current limitations of the SDK without factoring worlds with shader functions that effect avis (like audiolink).
there's 3 options that VRChat could do:
1) Make components available in the Avatars SDK for creators to use so they could make their own custom spout output that's different from the face mirror.
2) add more settings to the Face Mirror to have it mirror your model differently
3) a mix of #1 and #2
This is a scene in OBS where the user is testing the Spout output option for the face mirror in VRChat. The red box in the corner is showing the user's avatar in the corner.
A month ago, #VRChat released an update that outputs the face mirror to Spout. I honestly like this idea as this would reduce the need to calibrate the VR view everytime I get a new headset. The main issue with this though is that, well, it's only for the face with no options for tracking the body.
they feel so fragile when you hold them.
A thing that's interesting is Twitch isn't really enforcing this ToS. At the same time, I need to look for multichat tools that splits multiple chats properly to avoid ToS violations.
I did a bit of digging on this subject because my plan is to stream on 3 platforms (Twitch, YT, and Kick (because platform diversity is good in the long term)). My concerns about multiple chats were wrong. Per Twitch ToS, you could show other chats but "unmerged"

Me listening to the funk/brazilian funk (formerly called "brazilian phonk") genres, especially looking at the edits on YT shorts

I'll work on making a sample shader available on Github later today
Both of these have HDR values of (8,0,0,1) with bloom enabled in the scene. Left uses my tonemap additively directly in the emission shader. Right is without the tonemap.
So I found a way to make emissions look nicer with a neutral tonemapper I made. To get it working with bloom I have the original color added with the tonemapped result. The tonemap in general is good for preserving colors in the scene with it only desaturating high intensity colors.
When someone interrupts your train of thought
"I left VRChat because drama" mentality is the dumbest thought I've ever heard yapped when drama in much larger communities can be far, far worse. Meanwhile I see them cozying up to some of the most toxic ass mofos and believing in the slop they yap
