AI music should’ve been presented as a way to play music, not to replace the artists who make it. The artist creates the song, and the AI lets you experience it however you want. That’s the real magic, and it’s why most “AI artists” will flop.
I enjoy writing stuff like this. I don't know if I am going mental or if it is actually useful. It is fun though.

Most of your best ideas hit while testing your software on the indoor bike, right? You message yourself everything that needs fixing, then later turn those thoughts into issues with clear requirements and expectations. Once it all makes sense, you go for it.

It wasn’t intended to be complicated. Not many rules. Things I should have made clear is it is an array, list or whatever with the alphabet a .. z in lowercase, but one character is missing. We don’t know which one.
XOR was my fastest method but the readability sucked.
