Truu.. It takes so much determination and tolerance to fail after fail to grind these countless hours to finally ace them. I was watching some pro play of Ikaruga the other day live on stream and just made my jaw drop to the floor how superhuman you gotta be to beat it

Yeaa I can't get anywhere near 1cc:ing it. At home I can get past the first two stages unharmed but after that you rly need to know optimal routes to handle the rest of it s.s

I didnt get to try any beat em ups cus I spent most of the time with shoot em ups.. Gotta play some Metal Slug next time too. Mushihimesama and DoDonPachi SaiDaiOuJou were awesome shmups in there tho

Yeah I tried Mushihimesama, Dodonpachi and Deathsmiles from Cave too and those feel similar to it! Altho they're even more hectic. Not very good at those at all but I like the visual style of them all!

Yes! Like Dreamer I managed to 1cc on manic difficulty and Devil Blade Reboot on normal. Both are very accessible and fun to play for sure. Been trying to get into Blue Revolver next but its considerably tougher challenge

I've been very into SHMUP / STG / Bullet Hell gaming lately.

It's frustratingly difficult however but I genuinely want to improve. I suppose I have to pick a game to focus on soon instead of hopping between different games constantly. There's just so many to choose from...
