I know...it was a missed opportunity.
A little WIP from today. On pieces with a lot of linework I like to paint all the lines before doing colour, even if that means going over some of them again later.
This way the art doesn't get lost in the chaos.
I designed this retro Adventure Zone as part of my Exile Zone token bundle - the red and the dragon scales were inspired by the classic red Dungeons and Dragons basic set from the early 80s.
Also available as singles on my shop.
I use white Vallejo primer applied by airbrush. It allows even the first layer of colour to go on super vibrantly and there is texture to work around.
