i tend to see some players giving them "flaws" that aren't inherently flaws. that aren't dealbreakers and that wouldn't bring consequences for their characters, perhaps by the fear of judgement coming from other players or being seen as "less interesting"

absolutely, i agree!!! >:]

rin may be /really/ dumb in some areas, most of them because she chooses to be ignorant (and that's another flaw of hers), but she knows strategy & warfare well, so it goes

and i think that giving this flaw, this ignorance, turns her even more endearing for me

i'm the only person allowed to call my characters stupid (and perhaps my partner also is) and no one else has the same intimacy with them 🙏

i feel slightly bitter when people place rules on how i should or not treat my characters though ehehe

they're flawed humans, i love them despite their flaws
