Just visited a VRChat world so epic that I actually felt sad after leaving because the euphoric vibes I felt there were so strong. World name is Antiheats Apartment.

I love how easy-to-understand and clearly explained these old-fashioned videos are. They just had a knack back then for laying things out in a very direct and simple manner and it feels lost today. (Or our technology is so complex we can't explain that simply?)

Studying old architecture has me wondering why awnings just aren't really a thing on modern buildings as much as they could be? I'd imagine most modern skyscrapers have reflective coats, but automated awnings could be a pretty way to help reduce thermal intake. Perhaps lifespan is a factor?

Man I need to get onto bluesky more often. I kind of miss that this site doesn't have a scheduled post feature like the 'other' site did, but it is nice to have an interface that works and actually have a helpdesk that's staffed by humans.
