Oops all vampires top 4 in honor of Nosferatu month. Yes, it was painful to choose just 4.

People really need to be watching Interior Chinatown. As a longtime fan of Charles Yu this adaptation is everything I could have hoped for. It’s weird & hilarious & touching. Please everybody watch so it gets the love it deserves

Someone said it was crazy for me to complain about the color grading because Elphaba is “literally green” lol

I don’t know why the concept of letterboxd is so confusing to some people

I just will never understand why people want this. It’s so ironic to me that “live action” adaptations (that are typically bloated with gratuitous cgi) are sold as a more elevated or serious version just because they aren’t animated. They offer nothing new & always look considerably worse

I watched the first Gladiator for the first time and it kept getting wildly distracted because the score is nearly identical to Pirates of the Caribbean’s

It’s truly incredible. One of the only films I saw this year that immediately struck me as a worthy best picture contender & it’s criminal that the rollout was so thoroughly botched

A treasured comedian known for being a loveable goof instead of a mean spirited cynic?? Did the academy finally start reading my emails?

Just saw Nosferatu & holy shit. What an incredible feat of artistry. A film that celebrates the history of everything cinema has been & is capable of becoming. A pitch black nightmare of a love story that is equal parts vile, horrifying, romantic & erotic. A gothic masterpiece. I loved every second
