I will complete the commissions I have as quickly as possible (I am so burned out, but I'm doing my best), and that will be it for now.
In this spirit of freeing things up for myself - I am no longer taking commission work on the regular. If I take emoji commissions again, something has either gone very wrong, or I wanted to put together some some extra money for something.
I have more room to re-evaluate things in my life and move on from some really shitty things that have held me back. I haven't had the means to do this until really recently. I can't talk about it more detail right now, I should be able to sometime in the future.

When the AI bubble bursts, the thing I will be happy the most about is not having to see performative posts as if whining into the void is convertible to tangible action, and fewer extremely misinformed takes about what creativity and art """truly means""".
If AI products were useful in industry and commerce people would be using it in those settings (instead of people in tech companies being incentivised to burn as many tokens as possible to make it look useful). If it was economically viable, AI would have legs in the long-term.
I saw a post where someone was linking an article about how AI data centers are not nearly getting built as much as plans have indicated and someone was like "this means we're winning, don't let up on it now", yeah, because this had anything to do with people whining on social media...
