Today weve been doing DNA extraction in my Human Biology course (on the BSc Psychology). It's a relatively simple procedure that can be done even without access to wet labs.
Nothing to do with me, but this stood out to me as well-written, accessible neuroscience paper. If only more people wrote to communicate, rather than to impress.

The folder given to me on the first day of my PhD at the Institute of Neurology, Queen Square, London. That was in 1996, even before the Institute became part of University College London. Folder is still in remarkably good nick.
