At this point the only reason to call it the Labour Party is it lasts too long, hurts like hell, and people keep popping in and out to check on your genitals.

I’ve been completely over it with superhero movies for years and now you’re telling me to understand an upcoming film I’ll be required to do homework? LMAO please go away.

Exciting news that my good friend Oliver Crocker has helped to write a new book from Mark Stuckey of The Repair Shop coming soon from Mirror Books!
They are now a registered charity, so if anyone can please make a donation on the website and who knows, there might be very lucky to find some more lost material one day. Donations can be made on the @filmisfabulous.bsky.social website. filmisfabulous.org.uk/the-film-is-...
Still strange to think we've got another two episodes of The Daleks' Master Plan back in the archives now and all thanks to hard working efforts of @filmisfabulous.bsky.social who continue to work round the clock looking after the archives of film collectors around the UK.
In 1981 Doctor Who Magazine published the first comprehensive inventory of the BBC's archive, listing which Doctor Who episodes existed and were missing.
45 years on, 41 episodes have been returned to the archives. Here's a recreation of that list followed by how it stands in 2026.

We're going to discover all the Peter Files.
(Yes I know I'm making an IT Crowd reference)

Explaining the concept of VHS to today’s children is difficult enough, this would just tip them over the edge.
It’s also sad that Graham Linehan died in 2017, just shortly after the third series of Count Arthur Strong. Leaving behind a great body of TV work, as well as his many interesting insights into comedy and writing structure online. And nothing else!
Part 1 of my interview with the brilliant Doug Rao on The Bill Podcast is now publicly available. Doug discusses his feature length directorial debut Dirty Boy, as well as time playing DS Stuart Turner on The Bill.

I could definitely see this being an episode only Jake would be the instagator. Captain Holt would also probably criticise the squad’s snowman building techniques.

I'm really curious about 184 is going to be. I think this, along with guessing what the last Beatles song is going to be and which number, is all very exciting!
For me growing up it was one of the more nicer sounding idents that didn’t unsettle me, especially at bedtime! This song always reminds me of this ident, especially near the end. youtu.be/a8bmKHPkq5o?...
Brilliant! So I'm guessing we'll be getting at least a chapter on Rosie?
Did Network ever get round to releasing it? I know they did Flickers which I still haven’t seen.
My mate, Summer Winos comrade and Mulgrave Audio oppo @andrewtsmith.bsky.social has spent the last couple of years quietly working on the biography of Roy Clarke, with the help of Roy himself. It's called 'Writing All Hours', it's being published by @tenacrebooks.bsky.social, and it'll be ace.
And that right there is why you’re the right person to be writing his biography. I’m glad that the great man is still going strong at 96 and I hope he knows the impact he’s made with his work and how loved it remains. :)
Because sadly The Traitors is making them more money.
There's plenty more where that came from and that's just on the free feed! There's also a Patreon channel that's been going for a few years now which has many commentaries and behind the scenes interviews with so many more people. It's all gold dust I promise you!

Great choices in shows there! You might be interested in The Bill Podcast, which my friend Oliver Crocker has been doing for a few years now where he's interviewed many of the regular cast and more. I've even stepped in recently and presented a couple so far!

Sad to report that actor Donald Douglas has passed away. He had a brilliant acting career on stage and screen, including the recurring role of Peter Cunningham on Take The High Road as well as roles in Doctor Who, Poirot and the Bridget Jones movies.

The one thing the show has going over Heartbeat is that they’re allowing the show to move forwards in time. Heartbeat seemed to be stuck in 1969 for about 10 years!
