I think this is only true while he is under the umbrella of Trump. Trump rules the party through the fear of alienating his fanatics. I wish it were easier to get people to internalize that being right is a process, not a result. The fact that Tucker occasionally gets to a result you like is about as meaningful as flipping a coin to predict an election. It doesn't establish future alignment with your goals or with reality.

I tend to agree. I actually think the modal path after a nuke is some level of international pushback (some, not enough) which gets folks energized behind him. Could be a net positive after a month or two.
