I love cyberpunk style lighting, but I don't physically own enough lights and modifiers to test this out in real life, so I'm really glad video games have such amazing photo modes now.
I have actually been able to transfer some of this practice to real world shoots even.

Broadening the scope, I see this with lots of my hobbies, including my newest one, Magic the Gathering, where it's a male dominated field, and yeah there are trash men, but also lots of men who are welcoming to everyone, but hy being male, they still skew the balance...

@toplesstopics.bsky.social muses about this often, how so many of her supporters are men who genuinely believe in the mission, but by virtue of being men, can still "scare off" the non-men who are wary of men in such spaces.
Lots of men probably genuinely WOULD gladly help you facilitate meet ups to help non-men get comfortable with nudism, but those men ultimately are still skewwing the gender balance just by being there or participating.
Man, as I was reading this I thought of a ton of little ironies that pretty much all followed the script of "there are lots of guys that would love to help facilitate" and then immediately realizing that "guys" is still part of the problem . . .
Fortunately, we don't have bears to contend with . . . But I would do this loudly and proudly if it helped keep distance between me and the danger noodles.
I have a fear of snakes, and while I have matured enough that I don't want them all gone, I don't want to run across any in the wild either...
