So 3D movies was making me buy Blu-ray but now my latest tv doesn’t support them, gutted as 4k has potential to be better for 3d as you can use passive glasses and when it halves the resolution you still have 2k per eye
When I got my first 4K TV, a second-gen set, I instantly got the 4K plan for @netflix.com to make the most of it, even with just 8 shows in 4K.
Today I downgraded to the standard plan, I am tired of price hikes, and with my shows split across so many services, it’s just not worth it anymore.

So my eldest childs school has banned mobile phones so I bought them a MP3 Player so they can still listen to music. Turns out getting music to put on an MP3 Player in 2025 is bloody hard, spent all evening trying to figure it out.

depends what age, we had www.kiwico.com boxes delivered for a while for our kids and they were great
this is because they prioritise the user not the developer, they focus on implementing new APIs properly rather than rushing (meaning we get things like Service Worker late, but implemented in a way that's better for users and security)
