What “sources”? I only know of one man who wasn’t in the room, has no apparent way to know, and cites nothing.

Spreading wild, unsupported speculation is harmful. It robs credibility from true reports about very real Trump shenanigans. Please stop.

I’ll retract this if you cite a credible source.

A lot of “the conservatives are hypocritical” stuff is just cherry-picking polemics, but this seems real. WaPo editorial board says diametrically opposite things about gerrymandering, depending on whose ox is being gored. This is the official view of a very influential paper, not just a columnist.

We’ve had rain off and on the last two days, which is good — we need it! As the saying goes, April showers bring … fewer July wildfires. 🤣🤞

CDC won’t publish report showing covid shots cut likelihood of hospital visits The report, which had cleared the agency’s scientific-review process, had been delayed. It now won’t be published at all, people familiar with the decision told The Post.

This wasn't the case with previous image generators, but the LLM you select has a huge effect on GPT-imagegen-2 output. GPT-5.4 Thinking and GPT-5.4 Pro will produce much better images, especially for complex things.

This is, of course, not intuitive or explained anywhere.

I have to admit that sometimes I live to impress. But like I said, everyone gets to have a flaw. Yours is ice cream, mine is a fundamental personality trait. Anyway, I'm grateful you're my friend. 🫶

The Guardian view on Japan’s cherry blossom: when spring slips out of time | Editorial Editorial: A 1,200-year dataset shows the ‘peak bloom’ is arriving earlier. Global heating is unsettling nature’s rhythms – and their cultural meaning

The “peak bloom” for cherry trees now occurs ~2 wks earlier than in previous centuries. In the 1820s full bloom arrived in mid-April. In 2023 the full-flowering date was 25 March.

That’s a good song! Are you the music writer and the lyrics writer and the performer, all in one? That’s a lot of different talents in one person. 😊

I’ve never heard of this instrument before! From its name (dulcimer), I imagine it has a soft, pleasant sound?

‘We were terrified they were going to kill us’: fishers who survived US boat strike speak out An Ecuadorian fishing crew describe their ordeal as victims of Trump’s purported war on ‘narcoterrorists’

A group of Ecuadorian fishermen survived a US drone strike, were detained at gunpoint, phones wiped, ship blown up, disappeared to El Salvador, then released without charge. “They knew we were fishermen. Even the Salvadorian authorities said things had been handled very badly.”

Oops, I think you did mention it. Not liking ice cream is practically heresy, but you get a pass since you’re generally great. Everyone entitled to a flaw. 🤣
So amended list: bacon, chocolate, peanut butter, salmon and pizza! 😋😋😋 Just not all at once.

For sure! I eat pizza one night a week. About once a month, I make it myself. That’s the most work, but it’s so good! If only we could combine the five best foods: bacon, chocolate, ice cream, salmon and pizza!

I’m sorry, “get tired of pizza”? What is that and how would it work? 🤣

Sorry, I don't buy it. The sole source is someone who wasn't there, has no apparent basis to know, and doesn't have a track record of reliable info. The cited Newsweek article says there's no evidence for it.
While Trump's an unpredictable idiot, that doesn't make every wild accusation true.

This Isn't Trading. It's Theft from Your Retirement. Someone keeps making perfectly-timed bets right before the President speaks. The victims are your pension, your 401(k), and the country I took an oath to defend.

Fifteen minutes before the President announced he was pausing strikes on Iran, somebody moved $500 million in oil futures. Somebody knew. Somebody told them. Or somebody is them.
