Serious question: what are you doing about it?
Traded in my 2019 LEAF for a used 2025 VW ID Buzz a couple of weeks ago. Drove from Denver to Tucson to Phoenix and back to Denver solo over the last week. I sometimes wished it would charge SLOWER. I had time to pee and get a snack and I was back on the road.
New in PN: "Just making s**t up" — @volts.wtf sounds off on the EPA
“How the f**k are they going to do that? If you can get the Supreme Court to rule carbon is not a danger to public health, it will mark the point at which they have abandoned all pretense, because that’s just a flat out lie.”
More than being about winning, its about supporting what's best for all people. Do the right thing.
Medicare for all, paid leave, universal childcare.
Busting up big corporations and tackling Wall Street’s greed.
Getting big money out of politics.
Supporting unions and fighting for higher wages.
If Dems want to win back working people, this is the agenda they must support.
Though many have tried, no one can repeal physics!
As Colorado Climate Disasters Awareness Week comes to a close, we want to give a huge thank you to everyone who took part. Together, we lifted up real stories from across Coloradans effected by climate disasters. Better yet, these stories translated into real impact!
A huge impact of climate change on Colorado is that it is drying up the soil all around us.

Congress will never draw a line because there is no line Trump won't cross.
Today's GHG emissions will have negligible effect on the planet's atmosphere a billion years from now. Let's see, hmm... that's about 40 million generations into the future, assuming, of course, that we still exist beyond the next 7 generations.
We are living in the tail right now. How many predicted this?
We are all immigrants 💔
@neguse.house.gov Joe Neguse, where are you on this?
@joeneguse.bsky.social please take note. Thanks from a CO-2 constituent.
I refuse to stay silent while politicians claim to stand with hard-working Americans then turn around & do the bidding of corporations.
This week, House Dems showed what it looks like to get it done by forcing a vote on Healthcare tax credits. We chose hard-working Americans over special interests!
incredibly clear to me that they released the video not because they necessarily think it shows the officers innocence, but because it shows two gay women confronting a man
Renee Nicole Good was summarily executed for the crime of not obeying masked men's orders to stop and get out of her car. That masked man pointed his gun at her head from 3 feet away and double-tapped her. Mob hit, nothing to do with law enforcement.
There has never been a moment when ending the oil industry has been more urgent or important. Here is a thread of seven tools that can help.
Brief, readable 2-pagers, and a 30-page overview from @michealpodgers.bsky.social at @clicabedu.bsky.social.
Do not stop at proving a particular statement is false, go into the evils of poisoning the world for profit. We need more renewable clean energy AND we need to stop burning stuff.
My jaw hit the floor when I heard BBT's character go on this rant. We should thank the creators of Landman for creating discussion opportunities. This is just fossil fuel industry talking points. Better to bring them to light and discredit them and in doing so discredit the whole ff industry.
Abolish ICE, fund healthcare! Get to work Sen Frackenlooper.
I generally don't like to post screenshots of text, but someone posted this in our local Strong Towns group and it was too good not to share here.
I'd like to hear about your townhalls BEFORE they happen rather than after the fact. But you probably don't want to answer my question in public. What would it take for you to declare a climate emergency in Colorado?

We can live without billionaires but billionaires cannot live without us, in the same way that a body can live without cancer, but cancer cannot live without a body.
This is what happens when your libertarian governor puts his spin on climate policy. It isn't federal policy, it isn't drivers, it's a defiantly pro-big-business governor wielding the veto and the threat of veto.
