i have printed out the first fic i'm going to bind myself, and oh BOY was i afraid to look at my printer when it was finished just in case i messed up the print
almost failed out of fanbinding because scribus was making me want to quit computers. switched to affinity as a last second desperate hope.
new hobby saved. holy shit. incomparably better experience.
it only works if you have a good relationship with the DM and trust them, but GOD do i have fun with it (sorry not sorry to my DM, because i often feel like i'm figuratively stealing their lunch money, but i do use my abilities in creative ways π)
i think one of the most fun things about my TTRPG game and character build atm is an ability called "creative stroke"
if i use a tag from the card with this ability, i get to ask the DM if they saw this specific move coming, and if they honestly did not, i get a +1 to my roll
i legitimately like several of the things on here, some of which are admittedly strange, but apple cider doughnuts are a national treasure and whoever made this map is simply: wrong
some of these are legitimately awful (including my own state) but i will FISTFIGHT the person who made this map over apple cider doughnuts
we shared several fandom spaces over the years and she was always so lovely. rest easy.
that happened to me in october! they un-delayed it really late, too. damn near missed my flight, and that plane was *hella* empty.
you ever just remember a game you played with a story that was *so good* you have to take a minute to deep breathe about it a year after finishing it?
anyway, you should play ghostwire: tokyo
the bushes were people π
I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. Itβs dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

i have to say, as a broncos fan, i will absolutely take tied at half with drake may vs What's My Name Again
welcome to the chaotic side!!! π
perhaps, in a different time, i would have named us hope.
here's the thing about reading with adhd: someone can recommend something that they and i both know i'll love, but i have to wait until the moon is in the seventh house and jupiter is doing the samba to actually start it.
guess what, you guys, "the emperor of all maladies" is very, very well-done.
northern lights!!
i did not miss my flight, but BOY was it close
i have a new hill i'm going to die on, which is "if you delay a flight by an hour, you should not then be allowed to un-delay it 45 minutes if it's been long enough since the original delay that people's travel plans to the airport may have changed"
and to now open my door to see a teenager and think "i'm so glad this kid still gets to be a kid, at least in this way."
it's wild to me to think back on my own childhood, to trick or treating my way through high school, to remembering how many adults in my life were like "you're too old! imagine what those people are thinking when they open the door up to see you and not a little kid!"
it's finally lapsang souchong weather again and i could NOT be happier about it
not gonna lie, i kind of want to make this into wall art.
Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing? 2? Questions I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up. Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?
If anyone needs me I will be in the museum, lying down next to the bog bodies.
watching peacemaker from the start for the first time, and after ep 6 i told my good friend who is a peacemaker fanatic that the weird niche character that i might be planting my flag in is, in fact, bug goff, and her reply was "i somehow felt that was coming"
glad to be known!
the frequency with which i shout YOU LEGALLY CAN'T ASK ME THAT while filling out job applications really is something
If you have the space on your plate to make these calls, please do.
i'm in awe of your to-do list and also your organisational skills!
man, the silver lining about getting laid off from my last job is that i absolutely do not have to engage with any of this iphone stuff, and that's honestly great news
