Bonn, which became Kherson's sister city in 2023, held "Kherson Week" starting 8/24. Bonn's utility company BonnNetz pledged its ongoing support to Kherson and a charity fair raised 1600 Euros for the Marine Coast Defense Brigade protecting Kherson.

Russia struck the bridge to the Island neighbourhood again, killing a civilian driving across it.
1,800 civilians are still on the Island, including 187 handicapped/bedridden and 31 children.
Kherson authorities are working on the evacuation.
Attacks continue.
