Push sunrise later and you make wake-up harder, school/work timing harsher, and circadian alignment worse for a lot of normal humans.

If you're not familiar, SFUSD does not automatically put your child in neighborhood school. You run the enrollment gauntlet for elementary, middle, and high school. How would you know to special request a school you didn't even know existed?
Excuse me??? They intentionally removed the Academy HS from the lottery system and then claimed it's a low enrollment issue.

My son is one of those 24 freshmen and we're pissed. From what I understand there's no plan for the Academy staff, they're just moving students... Sounds like a rebranded school closure to me.
