In an overwhelmingly Democratic state of 8 million, it is essentially meaningless to call Democrats "the party of the rich" because around 16,000 people subject to a new tax live in districts where more than 50% went for Dems. It's much more accurate to say rich people don't live in rural areas.

Compton, CA: A masked, heavily-armed man wearing body armor jumped out of a SUV today to kidnap a local resident.
