Pale yellow short sleeved handknit sweater with a deep ribbed hem and cabled yoke in a pattern to resemble ferns.
#WIPWednesday #KnitSky Knitting is complete on the Raunioiset Sweater in Four Seasons 70% cotton/30% wool from Classic Elite yarns from my stash. Now on to a wash & blocking. I chose to use ribbing to finish the sleeves, hem and collar, as I wanted the body to be drawn in for shape to fit me better.
That is just beautiful!!
Thanks! I will do the ribbing and post my results.
I am afraid if I start something else, I will never finish this!!
I see that in your posts! I am considering doing a ribbed hem...what's your thought? I don't think the straight shape will look good on me.
I see you. I am working on a sweater I restarted several times. And yesterday I knit most of the morning just to frog it back...I was being innovative and didn't like the result. Knit, rip, repeat seems to be my current mode.
Light yellow handknit sweater in progress.
#WIPWednesday #KnitSky Working away on the Raunioiset Sweater knit in Four Seasons 70% cotton/30% wool from Classic Elite yarns from my stash. Lots of stockinette to get the length in the body.
Do you have yarn to fix it?? Oh what a bummer.
I do either, but I like raglan sleeves for the best fit on me!
Go buy a lottery ticket!
Orange
Is is superwash??

#WIPWednesday #KnitSky Yoke cables complete and starting raglan increases. Raunioiset Sweater knit in Four Seasons 70% cotton/30% wool from Classic Elite yarns from my stash. This yarn is knitting up so nicely! I used a 2 needle cast on and left a cable for easy finishing of the collar.
Nice pattern!
Take your time. Read the whole pattern BEFORE you start. And, you may need to rip back, start over and/or curse a bit. All part of the process!
I am working on a sweater and have started over 5x. I have been knitting 40+ years. Gah.
It happens to us all. I hope it's not your health. Mine was just being dense, plain and simple.
I used it a bit ago and it was just fine. I searched for a pattern, purchased it and downloaded it just fine via android using Chrome.
I emailed Knit Picks to verify whether this is the case.
Midstream!
I just used it a bit ago to purchase and download a pattern, and I had no trouble.
Pub, absolutely. And a coffee/tea shop with yummy snacks and cozy chairs.
I like the dark better.
We leave a bit of ourselves in everything we knit! ๐
I have long hair, and have had to remove some of my own from my knitting too. It happens!
Been there, soldier on my dear!
Clever!!
Well done you!
That would be such a cute soap holder knit in cotton!
Keeps me out of trouble!
