What a weird timeline. I still think the weasel that got into the large hadron collider in 2016 thrust us into an alternate universe.

TMZ setting up in DC to follow politicians around is FINALLY the appropriate lowbrow "news" coverage this administration has merited all along.

RESULT: Analilia Mejia is heading to Congress.

The AP has promptly called the NJ11 election for Mejia, the left-wing advocate who won a tight primary earlier this year and just easily won the general election. Mejia will replace Mikie Sherrill, who of course is now governor.

Strong turnout continues in Northern Virginia, as the region has been rapidly closing the turnout gap with the state's redder areas this week.

Since my last update two days ago, 116K new voters overall; and the biggest jump in turnout has been (again) in the 8th, 10th, and 11th districts.

And I’m having trouble affording said wealth… I recognize that this makes me luckier than some but I’m a single Mom and am struggling.

Chuck Schumer's two votes tonight in favor of bombs and bulldozers to Israel is yet another reason Senate Democrats must vote to remove him as leader post the midterms.

Amazing timeline cleanse. Also the fact that stegosaurus ranked so low is honestly criminal.

My brother, an old school Googler who used to go to universities to recruit kids was asked at a Q&A if he thought the internet was the greatest achievement in the history of mankind:

'No, it's the vaccine, and the internet is trying to ruin that one for all of us'

WARREN: I want to understand how slashing healthcare for families so Meta gets a $3b tax cut is a 'really good outcome for the American public'

IRS CEO BISIGNANO: I don't see the two as correlated

W: Those tax cuts were paid for by pushing people off their healthcare. Did you not follow that?

It should get increasingly rude depending on how frequently you do it too. The first rime, maybe just a silly nudge. The 10th time and it just roasts you. I may or may not be subject to a roasting…

I’m so pleased I already have this person blocked. My BUDGET electric/gas bill next month will be $780, my property taxes are $1500 monthly, and I’m grateful my family is vegetarian because at least those grocery costs are climbing less rapidly.

I’m so worried about my SLAC alma mater in Texas. I always dreamed of my kid going there, but it’s in TX and not safe. I know a lot of my friends feel the same way.

Losing SLACs (small liberal arts colleges) is absolutely a sign of American academia's decline and the gutting of the humanities in particular.
I'm pretty sure SLACs are a uniquely American phenomenon. Most countries don't have hundreds of small, non-research-oriented colleges dedicated to teaching.

I’ve been caring for my mom since Oct when she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer stage 4. She died last week. I wish someone had warned me that I would feel every day since like I ran a marathon, despite doing maybe a handful of todo’s.

Still thinking about this note I found in the children’s section of the public library when I worked there back in 2018. This kid tried to warn us…
