Happy #FossilFriday everybody! Today The Crew is celebrating with a #livestream at 9:00pm Eastern to discuss the trailer for the newly announced #Netflix documentary The Dinosaurs, featuring rarely or never before seen Mesozoic critters, environments and behaviors.

The entire exhibit cabinet featuring specimens from the Weis museum. The top halves display specimens and photographs that teach visitors about bird evolution. The lower halves of the cabinet feature flourite and quartz mineral specimens.

The upper right section of the cabinet, which calls attention to features and behaviors that visitors can observe in modern birds that they share with their reptile relatives.

The figure used in my News & Views commentary. I generated the CT-based rendering of the holotype skull of Nanotyrannus lancensis (CMNH 7541), based on a recent scan. The lower image was done by the Nature art department.
