As I marveled at this wonderment, a smile of sheer awe stretching across my face, a shooting star sailed right above my head in midair. I reluctantly tore my eyes away from this gorgeous illusion to find a round, pure white marble table right in the middle of the room, marble engravings of flowers and leaves meticulously carved, serving to suspend the surface up to a height of just below my waist. A large book sat atop the beautiful display of marble artistry, flipped open, with various symbols and diagrams I hadn’t understood sketched over the worn, yellowed pages.
