March 2026 Earnings March was a good month. My Italian book was successful, I had a nice surprise with my other giftable book (since Easter) and launched another book at the end of the month. I smashed my revenue target and in general I see sustained growth in my self-publishing efforts month after month.

Just deleted my Premium subscription after 2+ years

If you are not marketing on the platform, it's just not worth it
I prefer to spend it on other tools that don't suck my time and instead save me time

Just published my 3rd book of 2026

This one took me a very long time to make
Exhausted but happy about the result

Fingers crossed now

Strategizing my next publishing moves
Big Quarter ahead

I have already broken my ambitious target for March

And there are still 10 days left until the end of the month
Could maybe break the $900 mark which would be huge
Let's see!

Exactly 1 year ago I vowed to stop working on B2C ideas
And the revenue from my side projects increased 4x since then

But I didn't launch any B2B product
I just doubled down on what was working

So I guess B2C or B2B doesn't really matter
What matters is focus

You are not unemployable because you like freedom
You are unemployable because you lack discipline and switch context way too often

Which might work well for entrepreneurship
But in general it works badly

Just a reminder that if you have no ambitions Italy is the perfect place for you

I swear I get more shit done in w hours here than in a week working from home

February has been a good month for me
One of the best since I have started this blog
And I feel momentum like I never did before

Controversial but I hate mortgages

Most people I know find a job, get married and lock themselves in a mortgage for 30 years
They can't leave their job, even if they hate it, and can't take risks for decades, in their most active years

A house is not worth losing your freedom

I failed all my 2025 goals
Wanted to get to $1k MRR, barely got to $200

Then I realized that I didn't need to find something new
I just needed to double down on what was already working

Now at $450 MRR and the $1k goal looks much closer now

Tourism rise has made the country a low-added value service economy
That's why we have low salaries
We still have highly skilled people but the best of course leave and never come back so they won't educate the next generation
Eventually skilled people will disappear and we'll see the real decline

One of things people say about Italy is that we have the lowest number of graduates in Europe

The things is Italy's economy doesn't need educated people
You don't need a degree to make a pizza, serve a table, drive a boat and so on

I set a $400 target for February
And I went beyond my expectations with $460 in royalties

I'm almost halfway to my yearly target
$1k/month

Next month target $600
Gotta be ambitious
