Seventh Curse...Chin Siu Ho kung fu fighting skeletons....peak kino!
What is one of your ultimate comfort movies?
Braindead (Peter Jackson/1992)
Just so damn good, the best splatstick film next to Evil Dead 2!
It's Bandcamp Friday! You can get my entire discography for $15! That's 3 albums and 3 E.Ps/singles. Please help support my terrible life choices.
Yeah, I really liked the early fight at Aquamans place… but omwards felt like diminishing returns, in the end I didn’t enjoy it 🤷♂️
well that does sound pretty aewsome..
I haven't, one of those that's been on different to do lists since... well the dawn of man, lol... :D haha... is it awesome?!
I never did like Gorgeous so I don't know if an the longer HK version will be torturous... Mr. Nice Guys is actually one of my favorites, but same thing there, will a longer cut lose the non-stop momentum of the butchered American/European cut?
gotta get back in fashion from a long draught! 😅
Got back to #physical
Have never seen extended Mr. Nice Guy or HK version Gorgeous, haven’t seen HK-version of Drunken Master 2 since the VHS days! And Seventh Curse is just an all time classic that everyone should see!
#LetsGetPhysical
That would be sacrilge!
Looks a bit sterile, there has to be exploding helicopters in there though?! Otherwise a big let down, lol…

My picks for the evening:
What's your "I recommend to everyone" movie?
agree, it was good I waited this long, lol... I had forgotten anything I saw in the trailer...
initially I was a bit put off by the style of 28 YEARS LATER but the movie won me over, I really liked it... :)
Great to hear! 🙌
Turned in my old bass guitar for a renovation, its now in better condition than when I bought it ages ago, has been collecting dust in the basement forever. Gonna lay down some riffs.
I think maybe mostly the air went out of these social media platforms a bit for me & I´m not on here as much, I do miss it at times, but also... you know, haha... I hope things are good on your end.
Things have been good, just don't have the time I used to to watch movies & when they are so underwhelming at times, it takes more to sit down and give one a chance. But I had a great time with my Bud Spencer/Terrence Hill run, Hellzapoppin, Cloud, Isolated, the #TankTuesday stuff & V-cinema box :D
that is one wonderful mix of movies! :D
Here are some of my favorite first time watches of 2025.
There is plenty I still need to see but here are my favorite movies of 2025 in no particular order.
Oh cool!
Can I see 28 Years Later without seeing the second installment in the series? And I need to get to One Battle After Another...
I did, it was on my best action movies on the year list: bsky.app/profile/acti...
I think the best things movie wise in 2025 was the Anime movies I managed to see in a cinema, Chainsaw Man, Demon Slayer and rewatching Akira and Princess Mononoke, absolutely stunning all of them... otherwise I guess music and life took centerstage :D
Doin #LetterboxdFriday I´ve kind of settled with that I don't watch movies like I used to, but managed to see one here and there:
Mural Crown returns and releases an album of the year contender already on 1 January!
Once again seemingly recorded from within a tumble dryer from across the hall their rudimentary metal fragments peek through...

It makes for an interesting perspective togerher with Fury and T-34
There’s not much action but the Tiger is looming over the whole film! Some great scenes.
#TankTuesday makes a suprise comeback with DER TANK (2025). Lapses into student film territory at times & shows signs of a limited budget but overall I had a good time with it, has some atmosphere, lots of fog machine & plenty of the central Tiger tank.
