Somehow this feels like an omer joke even if it isn't

This should take 5 minutes and can be done during of after davening. While someone you have a relationship with already is probably the easiest, any rabbi should be able to organize this with minimal trouble
I'll also add that you don't owe anyone your life story or your politics - keep it simple.
A Beit din for this is just 3 people. I was on one for a name change once for a very sick individual. (There's a minhag to add Chaim or Chaya to a sick person's name). There are some opinions you don't even need a ceremony - whatever you go by for 30 days is your name.

Bad takes?
Uh, I haven't seen the plans for the Trump-Epstein arch yet, but I'm sure it's tasteful, understated, and elegant.
Shooketh ๐๐๐
If I had read this tweet only for shooketh... ืืืื ื
I hear that. I've honestly never been so grateful in my life to not be going into an office as I have in the last 3 years.
True, but that doesn't explain the numerous Christian translations. Also most translations (at least the major ones like JPS and Koren) will follow pshat and not drash.
If this does happen, (and I pray it doesn't), I guarantee you it isn't the mullahs who will go thirsty.
Someone posted this to reddit and the only thing I could think was that somehow all three of those people are Rambam.
Why do people treat this noun as singular ? Is it just the context of the story or is there something more?
I'm bothered by the translation of 1 Samuel 28:13
The witch says:
ืึฑืึนืึดืื ืจึธืึดืืชึดื ืขึนืึดืื
Both the subject and the verb are plural. A quick check of bible hub reveals that almost everyone, Protestant, Catholic, and Jewish, translates this sentence with a singular noun (with some notable exceptions).
Jewish parents this week:
Sisera lying down: โPegging me, eh?โ
There are definitely meforshim who use "sod and remez" as code for "I haven't a clue but am not about to admit it here."
Ibn Ezra sure does have a whole lot of astrology in his Bible commentaries.
I personally ask for IDs from all my shabbat guests. Helps keep the vampires away.

They've moved on from taking things wildly out of context to just completely making things up.
How does someone have a house with zero books?
The more I read the intro to Mishneh Torah, the more I'm convinced that Rambam wanted MT to replace that Talmud and Mishnah, at least among the masses.
I'm pretty sure I once head you give a shiur on that when we both lived in Philly.
See I know this coming from his similar commentary in Sukkah about circular sukkot where he says "why are they saying the circumference is three if the diameter is one? Everyone knows it's 22/7."
Fun Pi fact for Pi-day. The first person to suggest that Pi was irrational was Rambam.

Today is almost-Pi day, or 22/7 day
On the Temple Israel shooter:
People who measure their reactions by the perpetrator's political views aren't interested in fighting hate. They're just interested in political power. Hate is hate. Violence is violence. It needs to be stamped out.
