Whilst making these paintings I’ve been thinking about myths where a twin is sacrificed to create the earth, and myths where a twin transforms into the first woman, and about Eve and Asherah and missing bones, so what started as some paintings of the may blossom has become something more

Woolies customers abusing staff as warehouse workers' strike disrupts supply chain Unions say the supermarket giant was warned of the consequences of a battle with its warehouse workers and that "now is the time" to improve their conditions.

More than 1500 United Workers Union warehouse staff are striking, so make sure to remember that these shortages are Woolworths' fault for trying to impose harmful 'efficiency' performance quotas and not paying workers fairly!

Union pickets Woolworths distribution centre amid dispute causing supermarket supply shortages Around 200 Woolworths workers are picketing a distribution centre in Melbourne's south-east which the supermarket giant is trying to reopen to ease a shortage of some items at its stores.

“Woolworths said … another union, the Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers Association (SDA), had endorsed a pay offer from Woolworths last week.”

Well duh. The Shoppies are possibly Australia’s most anti-worker union except the Police Association

Here’s a bit more about them 🧵

The same Acrylic on Canvas that I posted yesterday, but with a bit more detail today. Landscape painting. Blue sky with clouds, hills in the distance, a field in the foreground with two herons.

What's on your easel?
I've been asking for a couple days, and no one has replied yet, so I want to make it clear that I would love to see the art you're working on.

however "[within socialism, technology would] "redound to the benefit of emancipated labour, and is the condition of its emancipation.”

wasn't sure if you meant something like AI labour but unfortunately there is something called Silicon Valley.. aka where venture capitalists and government push the narrative that technology can save us

You’ve been on my mind - 26x32” acrylic on canvas. When I started this series it was much looser and messy. I do sometimes miss that and think I’m going to do a bunch of quicker studies for my solo show next June to show the range of that.
