But everything about how this story is written up and the quotes the lead - female! - author of study has given suggest this was all a complete surprise! That no one had every considered there might be anything sinister at all! That the intentions of such men were entirely honourable!

Highly recommend the podcast series 'Truly, Tradly, Deeply' for anyone who wants to understand why tradwife content has grown like it has. Easy to write it off as a fad but it says a lot about some people's fears, their misplaced hopes and misplaced rage.
