Jeez. Labour MP’s have just voted to give police unprecedented powers to ban recurring protests turning a fundamental freedom into a privilege granted by the state.

No protest movement has ever brought about change through one single march or action. How did it come to this?

Irish musician Moya Brennan dies aged 73 Moya Brennan, best known as the lead singer of the Grammy and BAFTA-winning group Clannad, died peacefully yesterday, surrounded by her family, at the age of 73.

So sad to learn of the passing of Moya Brennan of Clannad. For me, her singing was the bridge between the old traditions of Irish music and something new and vibrant as contemporary sounds and influences came into it.
Her instrument was her voice, and it was stunning.

This is unacceptable, taking away our freedom to peacefully protest is despicable, particularly from a Labour government. I guess this is a Zionist request from our bought and paid for PM. 😡😡😡😡

Could MattGPT face scrutiny under the UK’s ‘proceeds of crime’ law? The British right is awash with money from Orban thinktanks…which Hungary’s new PM says was stolen.

"bUT tHaTs AnTiSeMiTiC!!"

No.
The land has always belonged to those who lived upon it.

It belongs to those who cared for the centuries old olive-trees, now bulldozed.

The "settlers" are thieves.
If they can be expelled from Siani, they can be expelled from Palestine.

And genocide is not kosher.

Farage and Kwarteng doing a Bitcoin deal has to sum up the sheer stinking rottenness of their brand of politics.

This is not democracy. It’s certainly not public service. It’s pure corruption. And repulsive, piss-taking greed.

🤡 The Brexit irony is extraordinary.

Britain helped design a system to manage/control borders across Europe.

Then we chose to leave, turning ourselves from insiders into third-country aliens.

Now 🇬🇧 citizens are subject to very scrutiny Brexiters wanted to impose on others.

Brexit lost control.

Emergency Prices: How Private Equity Captured the Ambulance Market Emergency service costs have been going up for years, frustrating city officials. One reason seems to be private equity, which bought up ambulance makers and raised prices.

How Private Equity Captured the US Ambulance Market.

PE controls vehicle manufacturing, prices raised, profiteering. Higher cost of emergency services.

In UK, PE controls water, dentistry, vets, care homes, child fostering, hospitals. What next?

Capitalism worships profit, devoid of humanity.

Why has the US had to beg for peace with Iran? The United States did not start peace negotiations with Iran because diplomacy prevailed. It did so because it had no choice. It is running out of weapons. In the course of a few weeks, the US military has used somewhere between eight and ten years' worth of Tomahawk missile production. The...

If this is correct, the US is almost out of ammunition. Trump's used up ten years worth of Tomahawks in one campaign and supplies are dangerously low.
