Thanks. When I dropped by the precinct half an hour ago, I saw the city councilmember giving a speech out front but couldn't hear what he said.

Outrageous. @chiosse.bsky.social was protecting one of his neighbors from eviction, as a result of deed theft — a plague in Central Brooklyn right now. There was no reason for NYPD officers to roughly throw him to the ground. It sure doesn’t make anyone safer. Release him now.
I watched www.youtube.com/watch?v=_S5w... by @theabigailthorn.bsky.social
The bit about the NHS reminds me of weimar-project.page/ddg02/04-the... "It is so infinitely easy to kill someone from a boardroom table. They live and exist in paragraphs and you don't need to worry about the consequences."
incredibly accurate pic of me and my wife
Look at this photograph / every time I do it hurts my back
I understood the point you were making, I think it came through clearly :)

Injectable bioidentical estradiol is safe, legal, and cheap to buy online & you can order your own blood tests. I can point you to resources about that if you want.
Unsolicited advice from a trans person's perspective: your birth control almost certainly contains synthetic ethinyl estradiol. Bioidentical 17-b estradiol (the kind in estrogen pill/patch) is metabolized better. I think you'd need an estrogen level test, to be sure your problem's not low E.
operator: 911, please state the nature of your emergency
me: there’s a site i go to a lot that isn’t the best way to follow breaking news
operator: is it a news site
me: not really
operator: why don’t you go to a news site
me: i don’t know
operator: jesus. ok. how many ambulances do you want
me: 75
my 8y/o daughter: "dad? I know you asked your friends if this is appropriate for me to keep reading. when will they reply? are your friends space probes?? does it take 217 days for your message to reach them???"
(we decided to continue and it's going great so far)
👍😀
sign-up form: "What is your race/ethnicity?" auto-filled answer: "White, Brooklyn"
thank you, autofill
hire a Pesach Celiac to come lick your countertops and see if they get sick
and some absolutely bananas shit like "Planned Parenthood said, last July, that they were expanding GAC to ages 16-17, but a *simple website bug* made those appts unbookable until I got in touch with them and documented the bug 💀
but yeah, "make NYU Langone keep doing it" isn't on my priority list
I'm working towards a few goals related to trans youth healthcare in NYC - 1) the hospitals that cancelled care aren't consistently providing good referrals 2) there's a dearth of options for people under 13 3) city budget allocations "for trans youth GAC" are partially funding non-cancelled care
Sorry to quote-post, feel free to tell me to kick rocks: I'm a volunteer care coordinator for supportive parents of trans youth. Some H&H locations, among other practices, are absorbing that care. Many don't want to attract fed attention, have asked to not be named publicly.
screencap from The Emperor's New Groove, where Kuzco is showing Pacha a diorama of Pacha's village (soon, Kuzco will squash the hilltop with a model of Kuzco's new vacation home)
photo of half a page of Simplicity. Lucius is boggling at a VR-overlaid image of The Museum of the Former State of New York at New Shalem. It's a big ominous cube, at the current site of the Simplicity commune
Last night: wife, kids & I went down the hall to our neighbor's apt and watched Emperor's New Groove with her
This morning: I finished Simplicity by @mattielubchansky.com
Striking similarity!
this is called "digital self-harm" and Joshuas only do it when they're very stressed
(🫂)
it did some awful shit to me a few weeks ago (app automatically opened to the "Explore" tab, which was a randomly selected autoplay video)
when I used "send feedback" several times to bitch, then un/reinstalled, that went away
regrettably doctors are regularly checking in on my sex, though they do still leave the magik alone
Doctors always checking on my blood sugar but never anything about my sex magik
There's city council budget allocations for trans youth healthcare in FY2026, mostly going to NYH&H and Callen-Lorde. Room to expand there.
"the good news is that we have found a relatively cheap and easy way to prevent the cast from going through puberty. the bad news is that not everybody in this room is going to like it".
big spiky complex of four apartment skyscrapers and one irregular quadrilateral. it looks like JFK Airport had a baby with the NYCHA projects
It's *very* something that the temporary morgue set up for the victims of the factory fire is now condos.
www.famous-trials.com/trianglefire...: "The bodies were taken to a temporary morgue set up on a covered pier at the foot of East Twenty-sixth Street."
The pier at the foot of E26th today:
Q: Yes, Washington Square Park. Pepe: Yes, Washington - yes. So I enjoyed working there. We had a lot of fun. Q: Yes. Pepe: So, well, that's it. [Laughter from surrounding group.] Pepe: That's the story.
And I found this really sweet, in an odd way - dark survivor's humor that would work just as well today.
Q: Did you ever get your pay? Maisler: No. It was burned. 00:31:13 Q: You didn't make a claim to the company that . . . . Maisler: No. No, no, no. It was burned there.
trianglefire.ilr.cornell.edu/primary/surv... - this was the most shocking anachronism, for me. I can't imagine a person today who'd say, "ah, of course I won't get paid wages for the day I worked when the factory caught fire, the *physical dollars* burned".
Q: Oh, what are you worried about. Let it alone. We'll just - we'll tape it, then - then we'll make notes as the same time. [Simultaneous remarks by group.] Q: And send it to New York. Everything now goes onto during the campaign, you know we had a lot of broadcasts - nation - national broadcasts. And then we had some local ones at civil rights that went on tape. And we did a lot of our national broadcasts, although [inaudible due to overtalk]. Female Voice: Will you shut up for a minute. [inaudible] so I can see how his voice [inaudible]. Q: And my voice is good? Female Voice: I don't know that. I have to play it back.
trianglefire.ilr.cornell.edu/primary/surv... - that relatable feeling when you're creating a historical artifact, but your co-interviewer won't shut up
