2) There is no way to fund the account to get the promotional rate. This is just a way to draw in wire transfer fees. Bait and switch. The limits to transfers were not disclosed. If they were, they were not easy to see. Either way, shady practice. Account is closed.

I get a promotional notice to open an account with Fifth/Third bank with a promotional rate of 4% through June 1. But you have to deposit a decent sized deposit to do so. I figure "Hey this is a decent rate" So I do it. Then they limit transfers to $5000 per month. I have to pay to wire the money.
