Heerlijk, die harde wind. Vandaag op de zuidpunt van #Texel veel trek van Visdief, Grote Stern, Kanoet en Bonte Strandloper. Krenten: Kleine en Grote Jager, Pontische en Geelpootmeeuw, Roodkeelduiker, Dwergmeeuw en de Kleine Kokmeeuw!

Gaaf! Hopelijk dit jaar eindelijk eens een broedgeval.

Went back this morning for better views of the SPECTACLED EIDER. What. A. Bird. ~600 twitchers managed to connect, with the first foreigners from Germany and Belgium joining in. Probably a 3cy male, based on grey (not white) tertials.

F*ckin Spectacled Eider on Texel!! Stressful drive from Groningen, but managed to tick it in the last light. #351 (CSNA) or #341 (IOC) for my Texel list, but definitely the most memorable one yet!
