Our mission: Start the Wave is a non-profit organisation and movement that funds, supports and connects wavemakers worldwide. By funding and amplifying projects creating change on the ground, Start the Wave supports sustainable action rooted in love and liberation.
FUNDING PROJECTS:
Start the Wave prioritizes projects working with an intersectional and community-based approach led by folx from the global majority/BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and other people of colour), Disabled (Seen and Unseen) and TGNCI (transgender, gender non-conforming, intersex) people.
