Chainsaw man could commit to his bad decisions forever and still get up like nothing happened, but Denji2 has to change and grow and take things seriously to survive.

Yeah, he definitely feels like someone who considers his actions and priorities more.
Denji1's environment encouraged his recklessness and discouraged caring for the people around him, while Denji2's seems to have leaned more in the opposite direction.

Not really. I think if Denji1 had stuck around he should have been eaten by bugs forever, but Denji2 does not inherit his sins, and is pretty likely to die young anyway. Him dying would have appealed to me as an artist though I think.

Wait, this is totally a meta-joke about how Denji has heart disease and is gonna die from it someday.

Ending was a mixed bag, could have been better, could have been much worse.
I like that Power is now stronger than Denji, it feels right.
