Ah yes, my favourite day to check arxiv has arrived again

Hmm... 2nd quintile in my first ever JWST proposal as PI. Not sure whether to be annoyed or pleased lol.

Recently my very first 1st-author paper was published! (ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2024AJ.....)

It's about the discovery of a suuuuuuper red free-floating L/T transition dwarf and likely member of the ~20-25 Myr old Beta Pictoris young moving group. It's ~1100 K and ~7 MJup.

I guess my transition to this site is a good time to let everyone some things about me. I'm a citizen scientist who loved working on space-related projects so much that I decided to pursue a degree in Astronomy! I'm currently in my final year of undergrad.
