Realizing I did a typo mid-thread immediately after posting. I am not typing all this again.
Anyway everyone already owes my character so much money from my trading that I can just cash in that debt when I want something. That's what I meant in that post. A few words went missing mysteriously.

"what do you need a blimp for" let me answer that question with a question: what do you think the mileage is for an RV with stolen helicopter rotors welded on the top that needs multiple motors stripped out of a race car to fly
I need something I can actually scout from long-term over long distance
OOH also speaking of tanks, I still gotta work on that deathmobile. Probably gonna trade for robots to break down for the metal, for convenience.
Assuming I don't get more interested in the blimp. Honestly I could probably just check the sky over a raceway or stadium and steal one to retrofit.
Also might put some focus into making fresh and saltwater ponds close to home. Salt to have saltwater at home instead of needing to drive, fresh to see if I can actually fish in a player-made pond
Lucky me, I have the steel to make tanks big enough to haul that kind of water
Seeking the loot organizing enrichment that I've been missing since I stopped playing Dark Days Ahead
Having an organized medicine cabinet just makes sense and feels nice :3
Probably gonna split my character's weed across multiple baggies, add some bottles/jugs of wine and ethanol, etc.
As it stands, my character has just had a bunch of assorted pills in the chemistry lab of the RV, and my current goal is to make sure I have one small bottle's worth of all of them, each in their own bottle
This does absolutely nothing for me except provide personal satisfaction in organizing :3
My main focus right now is on willow bark, since I can use that to make aspirin (which is apparently not spelled asprin, learned that from the search feature)
Along with that I'm trying to print a bunch of bottles to actually *organize* all the medications my character has
In case you all couldn't tell, I've had rather a lot of experiences of exactly that in a lot of labs I've looted, and it is a moderate nuisance, so I'm trying to get ahead of it.
Aside from that, I've actually been harvesting a lot of local stuff from the woods around my main base.
You see, every miner zombie has a small chance to have on their person a Sonic Resonator implant, which lets me blast through walls and doors without needing to carry my fucking jackhammer everywhere for when some dickhead breaks the electronic lock, or the map generation forgets the door of a room
Ah well, infinite food hack. We ball.
Anyway, my current goals aren't even 100% on the labs to find my advanced reactor right now, funnily enough. My main goal is to go looking around in the massive number of mines around my area.
Not even for the relics in them, for the bionics in the miners
I can technically eat the seeds, but I need you all to understand that my character has too much food as it is. I can't even feasibly sell it all, everybody already so much that I can just cash in that debt when I wanna buy something. Why the fuck did I do this. Why did I spend *so long* on this.
Fun fact, did you know that most seeds in this fork have the sole purpose of being turned into bird food? Me and my one *thousand* spare oat seeds sure do!
Did you also know that every plant harvested gives 4 seeds? Meaning that with 3 wide, 100 long rows of oats, I get 1200 more every harvest!
Furthermore, the harvester/planter has proven a massive boon, though my storage would probably disagree with all of the everything it's gonna be overloaded with, since I've made my farm rows 5x longer (from 20 tiles to 100) for a fraction of the effort
I might actually double that. Too many seeds.
In today's cataclysm news: The new faction of people I found not only has stuff to trade, they're offering me quests, and *actually paying me for doing them*, on top of having actual characters and personalities
I thought it couldn't be done, praise be
I love such beings, as a matter of fact :3
Honestly surprised I have no memory of seeing this in Your echolalia channel
Mark, this is GOOD NEWS
Hmm, interesting :3 đź’śđź’ś
I'm afraid it's the death penalty for you
There's a lot of ways to prepare women though
Explaining food veronica eats to an american:
What types of food do you think I'd particularly like? :3
The Columbine massacre was on this date in 1999. Instead of energizing our country to get gun violence under control, it kicked off a new normal. One of the best explanations ever of journalism's destructive impact on mass shootings came from Roger Ebert in his review of Gus Van Sant’s “Elephant.”
everyone please stop calling ai glasses the "pervert glasses". this is appropriation of swirly glasses from pervert scientist women
A sweet nectar, and anyone you get it from has the pleasure of being sipped from by you :3
Anyway, I have all the supplies to get my farming machine set up, I have no excuse whatsoever to keep putting it off. First thing tomorrow.
Second thing tomorrow? I happen to know there's another new faction within a decent distance. I wanna see what they have for trade, and it better be something
To summarize: Lots of things that seem really cool but in practice are very situational
I got a bionic that uses a trickle of power to speed my movement up and I genuinely feel like that's more broadly useful than either of the above that I just mentioned
That reminds me, I did also get a radiation scrubber. Unfortunately, the bionics I want to run passively would leave me at a net loss in power, so that's very much just a thing for when I don't feel like running back to my autodoc to clear any radiation I pick up.
I already have ways to deal with massive hordes of enemies (chain lightning, explosives, funneling them through a chokepoint, running the fuck away, etc.) that use *way* less power than "all of it"
It's basically a panic button. Not bad to have, but I'd have preferred my advanced reactor.
